Privacy Policy

Confidentiality is the reason owners and buyers come to us. This policy sets out, plainly, what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Effective 13 October 2026

Who we are

Bridgeworth & Associates is a boutique business brokerage and advisory firm. We work with owners selling companies, buyers acquiring them, and both sides of a transaction in between. Because every engagement begins in confidence, how we handle information is not an afterthought — it is the core of the service.

This policy explains what we collect when you visit this site or speak with our team, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have about it.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you request a confidential valuation, register interest in a listing, sign a non-disclosure agreement, or ask us a question, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and — where you choose to share it — business details such as industry, annual revenue, cash flow or EBITDA, ownership structure, location, desired timeline, and available capital for an acquisition.

Information collected automatically. When you browse this site, basic technical details such as browser type, device type, referring pages, and pages visited may be recorded so we understand how the site performs and where it can be improved.

Information from other sources. Occasionally we learn about a business or buyer through a referral, a professional advisor, a partner platform used in valuation or revenue analysis, or a public record. We treat that information to the same standard as anything given to us directly.

How we use your information

To respond to your enquiry and prepare the analysis you asked for, including an indicative valuation range or a confidential information memorandum.

To verify and qualify parties on both sides of a transaction, so that time is only spent on credible, serious counterparts.

To structure and document an engagement, including financing conversations where you ask us to introduce lenders.

To keep in touch about a mandate you have given us, or an opportunity you asked to be told about.

To maintain our own records, measure how this site performs, and meet legal, tax, and professional obligations.

Confidentiality and non-disclosure

Owner identity is protected by a proprietary protocol: our own non-disclosure and verification process governs who is permitted to see a business profile, and no identifying detail about a company for sale is released to a prospective buyer without the owner's specific written approval.

Where you sign a non-disclosure agreement with us or with a counterparty, the terms of that agreement — not this policy alone — govern what may be disclosed and for how long. If an agreement you have signed is stricter than this policy, the stricter standard applies.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask to join.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. These restrictions apply regardless of any other information-sharing provisions in this policy.

We share information only where it is necessary to do the work you have asked for: with our valuation and revenue-analysis partners whose tools support the analysis we prepare for you; with lenders and financing sources where you have asked us to explore acquisition financing; with attorneys, accountants, and other professional advisors engaged on a transaction; and with service providers who host this site and help us operate it, under obligations to use the data only for us.

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, court order, or a legitimate regulator, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Cookies and site analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and to understand how pages are used. Most browsers let you refuse or clear cookies, though some features may then behave differently.

You can learn more about cookies and how to control them at allaboutcookies.org.

How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for: while an enquiry or mandate is live, while a non-disclosure agreement remains in force, or as long as record-keeping obligations require. When those reasons end, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the information.

How we protect information

Access to deal information is limited to the advisers who need it, and confidential materials are shared through controlled channels rather than open email wherever possible. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we ask that you avoid sending sensitive financial documents until a non-disclosure agreement is in place and we have confirmed a secure method.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete it where we have no continuing reason to keep it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time — a single reply of 'unsubscribe' is enough.

Requests are handled without charge and answered promptly. Where a request touches information that is part of a live transaction or a legal obligation, we will explain what we must retain and why.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as our services or the law change. The effective date at the top of the page always shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be noted here before they take effect.
